André Price is an historian, lecturer and City of London tour guide. He has a BA (Hons) degree in history and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching. André lectures on ancient and modern history and specialises in the history of London. He enjoys sharing London's heritage with everyone including students and tourists.
André is also a Ripperologist, noted for his extensive knowledge of the unsolved Whitechapel Murders of 1888 (www.jacktheripperwalk.net). He has been researching the Jack the Ripper Murders for over twenty five years and used to live above the Ten Bells Pub which was once frequented by Jack's victims. André regularly leads guided walks on the Jack the Ripper Murders and conducts walking tours exploring London's fascinating history and legends.
A popular speaker, André makes regular appearances in the media and has featured in a variety of television programs, films and documentaries. He has also advised on the production of television programs and was the key contributor and presenter on the Eerie Investigations documentary Jack the Ripper for Edge Media TV broadcast on SKY. André became a Freeman of the City of London in June 2002
André was filmed presenting his Jack the Ripper research for a new series on DStv called 'Mind the Gap'. The program is presented by broadcaster Neil Andrews (left) and they were accompanied by cricket commentator Mike Haysman (right). Together they retraced the shadowy footsteps of Jack the Ripper in London's East End.

André was interviewed about the Titanic by Len Goodman (right). The three part series called Titanic with Len Goodman was shown on BBC One. The programs explored the ship’s history and was broadcast to mark the centenary of the sinking of the Titanic.
